Bright and Contrasty

Brannan is one of the original Instagram filters from the app’s 2010 launch, named after Brannan Street in San Francisco. The filter makes photos look contrasty and bright. Bright photos appear more yellow and vibrant, while dark photos have a softer, matte look.

This preset is part of the 2010s Instagram aesthetic project where I recreate the look of retro Instagram filters.

Color Grading

Brannan gives photos a high-contrast look. It cools down the shadows with blue/steel-gray tones, while highlights and light skin tones become more yellow and contrasty.
