Bright, Faded Look.

The Willow preset gives your photos a nostalgic feel by brightening the image and creating a faded look. It lifts the shadows, making details more visible in dark areas. On brighter photos, the extra brightness can give an imperfect or washed-out appearance. In the early 2010s, it was common to see filters that deliberately brightened photos.

This preset is part of the 2010s Instagram aesthetic project where I recreate the look of retro Instagram filters.

Color Grading

This preset brightens the image and lowers the highlights, creating a flat, faded look in the brightest areas. The highlights have a pinkish gray tone.

Android Instructions

  2. Click here to open Lightroom
  3. Select any photo then go to the Presets section.
  4. Tap on the menu (top-right) then select Import Presets. Load the zip file you just downloaded.
  5. Find the preset in Presets > Yours > www.freepresets.io.
