Simple Retro Filter

This preset is a simple way to add retro tones to your photos. It gives a warm feeling while aiming to keep things looking natural, which should work well for many images. This preset can help make your photos feel more inviting without overdoing the color or contrast. Valencia is one of Instagram’s more subtle filters.

This preset is part of the 2010s Instagram aesthetic project where I recreate the look of retro Instagram filters.

Color Grading

This preset adds midtone contrast and gives a warm yellowish tint with purple-blue shadows. The look is created using RGB curves, just like how the original Instagram filters were created.

In the free download, you’ll receive the standard Valencia preset. If you are a Pro member, you will receive an additional Lightroom Preset with skin tone protection. This preset uses VOXCOLOR’s Skin Tone Protection algorithm to restore the original skin tones, making it ideal for portraits.

Android Instructions
  1. Download the preset
  2. Click here to open Lightroom
  3. Select any photo then go to the Presets section.
  4. Tap on the menu (top-right) then select Import Presets. Load the zip file you just downloaded.
  5. Find the preset in Presets > Yours > www.freepresets.io.
