Brighten Your Night Shots
Capturing fireworks with a camera often leads to flat, dull images. Even with long exposure, the photos can look washed out and fail to show the real excitement of the display.
This Lightroom preset is made to solve that problem. It brings out the color and contrast in your fireworks photos, making every burst stand out. It’s perfect for events like the 4th of July, New Year’s Eve, or any celebration with fireworks.
What makes this preset different is how it works. It doesn’t just boost vibrancy across the whole image. Instead, it targets specific color and tonal ranges. For example, purple fireworks, which often look faded, get an extra boost so they finally pop. Subtle bursts that might go unnoticed in your original photo become bright and eye catching.
The preset also supports the Amount slider in Lightroom. This means you can easily adjust how strong the effect is, making it as bold or as subtle as you want.
If you want an even stronger effect, you can combine the preset with extra vibrance and saturation adjustments. This preset gives your fireworks a punch that simple vibrance and saturation alone can’t match.
Color Grading
This preset keeps the original colors of the fireworks while increasing both their saturation and brightness. The saturation boost is adjusted depending on the color. For dark purple areas, saturation is raised more to help purple fireworks stand out. Greens and yellows are mainly enhanced in the midtones, while reds receive a smaller boost than purples so they do not dominate the image. This approach keeps the overall balance and lets each firework color pop naturally.
