Cool Faded Film Look

This preset gives your photos and videos a cool, faded film look. It combines cool blue and purple tones with bright midtones. Think of old printed photos that have faded slightly from sunlight, or maybe some expired film. This look draws inspiration from vintage film styles, offering a unique color grade that many find familiar.

This preset is part of the 2010s Instagram aesthetic project where I recreate the look of retro Instagram filters.

Color Grading

This preset adds a purple-blue tint. The hues aren’t shifted, replicating the look of old Instagram filters.

In the free download, you’ll receive the standard Hudson preset. If you are a Pro member, you will receive an additional Lightroom Preset with skin tone protection. This preset uses VOXCOLOR’s Skin Tone Protection algorithm to restore the original skin tones, making it ideal for portraits.

Android Instructions
  1. Download the preset
  2. Click here to open Lightroom
  3. Select any photo then go to the Presets section.
  4. Tap on the menu (top-right) then select Import Presets. Load the zip file you just downloaded.
  5. Find the preset in Presets > Yours > www.freepresets.io.
