The Gold-Yellow From Kodak Branding

Looking for a creative photography project? Try a yellow-themed city shoot by capturing yellow elements around you. Use this Lightroom preset to add a rich golden yellow tone to your photos, making them stand out, especially when shown as a series.

The yellow tone might look familiar to you, and that’s because it’s Kodak’s iconic gold yellow (used in their branding and product packaging). I spent a lot of time tweaking this preset to get that same yellow, which is paired with contrasting bluish shades to create a striking and balanced look.

Color Grading

This Lightroom preset increases contrast in the midtones while slightly lowering the highlights. It shifts yellow tones to a warm gold shade, making them brighter and more noticeable. At the same time, it adds subtle blue accents to balance the warmth. Because the warm yellows are brighter and more contrasty than other colors, they stand out and create the effect where the yellows really pop.
