Replicate the look of “Pulp Fiction”
Pulp Fiction is a 1994 crime film by Quentin Tarantino. It was shot on Kodak Eastman EXR 50D film and features a dark red and blue color scheme. This LUT emulates both the film tones and the color scheme, giving your footage a similar look even if the set doesn’t have the exact colors.
This LUT works well on scenes with reds and blues, such as diners, brick architecture, or even bloody fight scenes.

Color Grading
This LUT pushes blues towards the indigo blue and blood reds. Note that the color shifts do not represent Kodak Eastman EXR 50D film, but rather the colors used in Pulp Fiction. The goal of this LUT is to replicate the look of the movie without having to go all out with set design color coordination.

Skin Tone Protection
In the free download, you’ll receive the standard Pulp Fiction LUT. If you are a Studio member, you will receive an additional LUT with skin tone protection. This LUT uses VOXCOLOR’s Skin Tone Protection algorithm to restore the original skin tones, giving it a more natural look.
The original LUT replicates the dark blood reds in the movie and can make skin tones look darker than usual. You can use the skin-protected version to lessen this effect.
